How is a name read?
Primbon reads a name in Javanese script, hanacaraka. Each letter has a value, and the book uses the first and last letters of a name to count character and compatibility.
A name written in Latin letters has to be turned into Javanese script first, and the book does not say how. We use the common spelling rules and show the result so that you can check it.
